INFANTS (birth to twelve months)
Infants grow and develop at a rapid rate. It is important that they get everything they need to grow strong and healthy bodies. Infants need the type of care that will insure development of the skills they will need as they grow into toddlers. Infants are vulnerable and must be protected and nurtured. They feel loved when their needs are met, they are well fed and comfortable, and when mealtime and diaper changes are personalized, happy relaxed events. Infants love to be talked to, smiled at, sung to, and gently, but securely, held and handled. Our goal at Preston Kiddie Kollege is to offer a daily routine that meets the infants' needs. Our program will include:
TODDLERS (12 months to 24 months)
Toddlers are curious! At Preston Kiddie Kollege the toddler will be encouraged to use their natural curiosity by affording them the opportunities to explore their world while building vocabulary, developing small and large motor skills, engaging in creative expression, fostering positive social interactions, and stimulating their visual and tactile skills. Throughout the year we will introduce the following subjects through thematic presentation.

THE PRE-SCHOOL CHILD (3yrs to 5yrs)
The preschool child eagerly pursues autonomy; they are ready to develop large muscle skills like jumping and skipping and small motor skills like pinching and grasping needed for using pencils and scissors. The pre-school child is happy with their increased ability to communicate with adults as well as their peers. They have a great need to learn and are constantly asking questions. Children at this age are beginning to learn cooperative play and sharing with others. The 3 to 5 year old child is becoming more and more independent and self-reliant. It is our goal at Preston Kiddie Kollege to provide opportunities for the pre-school child to:

School-age children seem to have a steadier pace of growing and learning. Children at this age are interested in real-life tasks and activities, they want to make “real” jewelry or take “real” pictures. School age children are more likely to stick with things until the project is finished, problem solved or argument resolved. Doing things with friends, teamwork and following rules are very important. At this age it is more important to gain acceptance and experience achievement. At Preston Kiddie Kollege we will promote the development of your school-age child by offering activities in the following areas:
